Effect of Money in Deciding a Career

Money...the word that is synonymous with success...is a thing which appears to be desirable for all but a few people....

But can it be the sole or the primary factor in deciding a career??

Well..to inspect that question ...we need to look into the mental growth and upbringing of a person..

A person brought up in wants and unfulfilled desires, is more likely to be running after money than a person who has never suffered or known what "want" means...being lavishly showered with whatever he/she has asked for....but...there also exist contradicting examples...
there comes the role of the principles which wer instilled in one by one's parents, friends or other close ones...

Principles n a person's family economical condition (when growing up) don't go hand in hand..
so when it comes to deciding a career...a lot many people go by the returns expected from that job.. not givin much thought to whether they wil actually enjoy doin the job or not...

So the outcome remains...dat after earning well enough for a decade or so..people get frustrated with their careers or jobs...n feel d need to reshape it...
But here comes d twist..wen it becomes too late...to change from sumthing u never liked..

A gud idea wud be to go by one's passion but check d returns involved in it as well....coz reality n fancy r not d same thing..
Reality is--
we do need sum good amount of money to live life well...
Fancy is-
when we try to opt for something ..which we know wil involve very less return...

but here comes the irony...
Some people dont really have the option of choosing fancy over  reality..dey hav to face d reality....
so dey can really try to fulfil their fancy as somethng  like a recreational activity....to keep themselves "alive" n "kicking"..
thus.. ..a proper balance of "reality" n "fancy" is needed when decidin a career...n even when d former is chosen...life dusnt end der....
u can always kip ur time mixed between what is necessary n what u like doin most...

D "best" is when u start likin what u do n it becomes your passion...:-)

Abilities n Critics....

Life reaches a point where there is no return...a start that has been made has to be completed....no matter how bad d odds are...n the task at hand has to be done as good as your abilities allow you to...

Questions always exist as to how far a person can achieve if his talent or abilities seem limited...n people wil wonder...does dis person really deserve dis success....but people always miss the larger picture ... that success is mainly decided by two main factors which are----hard work..n luck...n none of this are limited by a person's abilities..
That might help to explain why some people ..who wer less educated went on to make the greatest companies or inventions that we know of today...
we people are all missing in some aspect or the other..which we can notice very well when we compare ourselves with others...but that seldom discriminates us or lessens our probabilities to be successful....

One important facet of life is that it should be lived with passion..
If we don't have passion towards our work..we'll never be able to be successful in it..
Passion allows us to stand by our convictions..to hav the courage n strength to withstand failures..n to always continually strive for what we believe in n what we enjoy doing...
All said..it suffices to conclude that ..regardless of much people doubt our talent or abilities..
our success in life..depends primarily on....Hard work, passion and a bit of Luck.....

Xams in Our College

Xams, the "breath taking" phenomenon which comes and goes have become more of a "torture" than an Acceptable procedure....People mug up answers and important questions just d day b4 d xam n blurt it out in xam.....
Does dis signify,in any way.the real meaning of knowledge???
We get hold of the notes just 2 days b4 xams n r expected to learn it by ourself....."U can do it yourself,it's easy"....says d teacher..........

A better approach would have been to give continous tutorials and projects throughout d sem......so dat we,students atleast touch our  books wen d teacher teaches a topic in class......
Dis wud b much better dan gauging a student's knowledge and awardin(or punishin) d student just on d basis of how much he/she manged to slog before d xams....irrespective of whether one knows how actually to use dat knowledge.........

N moreover students shud b encouraged to take interest in d subject not just for marks but for it's practical n real-time applications as well.....
After all,it's we students who hold d future of our country.......
